Smallville Season 9 Premiere

Smallville season premiere was last night, it was awesome! Here's my favorite pictures from last night:

Superman saving the train

Daily Planet

Superman looking over Metropolis, talking to Lois

My favorite, the iconic symbol burned into the wall

That seriously was the best Smallville ever, you should watch it any way you can (TiVo, iTunes, even the Smallville website you can watch the full episode). Smallville now seems more like an dark super hero movie more than anything. Think of this season as The Dark Knight Superman style. He doesn't wear the cheesy tights in this, but he does wear a costume (black suit coat with shirt under with the Superman symbol is silver). Anyway, please watch this, Smallville season 9 will be the best season.

EndWar Review

Graphics: Although the graphics aren't fantastic, there isn't really anything wrong with them. 7.5/10

Sound: Great sound effects and pretty good voice acting 8.5/10

Story: End of the world. Would be nice for more twists and turns, but for what it is, its okay. 7.5/10

Gameplay: In EndWar, you control your army squad to victory via voice control. You use your headset to give commands. The voice recognition is phenomenal, and it has never misinterpreted what i meant to say. There are cool upgrades and different kinds of units, and the game is just really fun. I do think it could have been easier to learn though, the tutorial just covers the basics and nothing more. 8.5/10

Multiplayer: Online

End war is a fun game. It doesn't show off the PS3's capabilites with graphics, and its pretty light on story, but EndWar does what its supposed to do, and it makes it really fun to play.

8/10

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 gets a title!

Apparently its focused on the Jack Sparrow character. Kierra Knightly and Orlando Bloom are not expected to return. This is actually supposed to start a new trilogy but I don't think it will be very good with out the other two main characters, especially since we don't know what happens to Orlando Bloom (I forgot his character's name) at the end of pirates 3.

Twilight Spoof: MUST WATCH!

State of Play Review

State of Play is the next murder/mystery thriller to come to DVD. I'm going to say right now that this is a brilliant movie. Keep reading to find out why.

Well, first of all, the acting is amazing. Some of the best acting this year, and the villain is really creepy. This movie is just so amazingly acted and directed you won't even believe it.

The writing is the best part, though. The story is intricate and realistic, as well as suspenseful when it needs to be. The whole plot ends nicely and the story is really interesting. Although you really have to pay attention. It gets really confusing some times with too many characters, but the story is just incredible.

The movie has minimal action, but what's there is realistic but exciting as well. Just a warning, the murder scene is really violent. A lot of scenes are extremely intense, especially when he goes face to face with the killer and silently gets chased into a parking  garage. I about peed my pants. No joke.

This movie makes you think. Its a smart movie; its well thought-out, its amazingly acted (Ben Affleck steals the show), and its intense and exciting. Its really hard to think of anything bad about this film, the only thing being the lack of action scenes. But its not an action movie. If you understand that this is a political thriller and not Mission: Impossible or the Bourne Identity, then you will undoubtedly enjoy this a lot.

The everything website

Has everything ever made: http://thebiglistofeverythingever.blogspot.com/

I am buying this book right now (or when I have 4 bucks)

Such an interesting novel with interesting plot twists and great characters. Would love to see a movie adaption.

Birthday Alert: A Way to watch R Rated movies?

Its a DVD player that filters out bad content, just like of it was edited on TV. Watch the videos on the website, they are pretty convincing.

Its $79.99 for the player, but it is also 8 bucks a month for all of the filters. Is it really worth it to watch R rated movies for 8 bucks a month? Not to mention its not for Blu-Ray. But think about all the movies that you've wanted to see thats R rated, or PG-13 that just looks too intense. This is definitely controversial. I personally am asking for it for my birthday, because I want to see movies like the Matrix, Terminator, and also some newer ones like Tropic Thunder and eventually District 9.
