X-Men/Batman Game Review (PSP/PS2 Review)

X-Men Legends II (PSP):
8.8/10
Good: Lots of characters, lots of powers and attacks, play as your favorite X-Men characters
Bad: Easy to get lost in giant environments, boss battles are confusing
Overall: Very fun game, one of the best for PSP that I've played!





Batman Rise if Sin Tzu (PS2):
8/10
Good: One of the very few Batman PS2 games, multiplayer, play as Batman Robin Batgirl or Nightwing
Bad: Very repetitive, boss battles are very boring
Overall: Fun game to play with a friend, but single-player is very boring

Hi everyone! I going to gamestop today. I'll be getting X-Men Legends II for PSP, and, depending on how much I get for trade in money, possibly Batman Vengeance or Rise of Sin Tzu.

Exit (PSP Review)

Good: Fun Graphics and animations, puzzles are fun to solve, TONS of levels (I think over 100)
Bad: Eventually gets very boring (lack of variety)

The Old Transformers Game not based on a movie (PS2 Review)

Good: Very fun gameplay, awesome weapons, really fun to choose your Transformer great graphics
Bad: Eventually gets so hard that it's not fun anymore

7.8/10 Very fun PS2 game. Definitely worth a rent, maybe even a buy!

Transformers Game News (PSP)

As I play Transformers more and more, I start liking it less and less. I'm going to go to Gamestop and take it back. I'll probably get X-Men Legends, instead. Also, has anybody ever played Batman Vengeance or Bat Rise of Sin Tzu for PS2? I might get one of those as well.

If it's white, wait about 10 seconds for it to load. This looks so cool! Maybe they'll eventually make a movie for it. That would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also hope they make a Star Wars Episode 7 game. That gives me an idea for a poll!

Rampage: Total Destruction (PS2 Review) Rated E10+

Good: 30 playable monsters, very fun to play with a friend, good easy controls, lots of extras

Bad: EXTREMELY Repetitive (every level is the SAME!), boss battles aren't interesting, 2D-Like environment (even though it's a 3D game.)

Overall 8/10 This is a fun game to play with your friend or brother/sister!

Note: Although it is rated E10+, it should be rated T. You have to destroy vehicles, eat humans (even old ladies), and demolish buildings! Seriously, making this game rated E10+ is pushing it way too far.

Transformers Game (PSP Review) Rated E10+

I changed my mind about X-men, and got Transformers!

Good: Variety of weaponry, variety of (playable) characters, real actor voiceovers (Shia LeBeouf, etc.)
Bad: Graphics aren't good, animations aren't well done, controls are not very responsive, controls are awkward, gameplay is lousy, entire game doesn't meet up to my expectations at all, one of the worst games I have ever gotten for PSP (probably the worst)

Overall: 5/10 AWEFUL!!! Don't buy this even if you find it for like $5. It's not worth any penny of mine.

Note: OK, originally I gave it 8/10, then 7.6/10, and now I have lowered it to 5/10. As I play it more and more, I dislike it more and more! Why couldn't they make it like the old PS2 Transformers (not based on the movie)? That was really AWESOME! That reminds me to do a post about the original Transformers game (PS2).

I'm probably going to buy this game

Star Wars the Force Unleashed

I can't wait for this game! It takes place Between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. You play as Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice on a dangerous quest! It sounds really fun. It's awesome that they are making a video game that takes place in between two star wars movies!

Updates!

There are going to be some updates to my blog. Blogger.com has added a new feature called "gadgets". They are some cool things that I can put on my blog. Look to the right. You can see the IMDb movie finder there. That's only one of the additions! I will be adding plenty more in the near future!

Nim's Island

Nim's island is a very fun movie. Kept me entertained for 90 minutes. The only part that wasn't so good was the ending. It was WAY too rushed.

Lego Star Wars II-The Original Trilogy

Good: Fun gameplay, plenty of characters, live through your favorite star wars moments in lego form, comical (funny, but not hilarious), lots to unlock
Bad: Playing after a while gets boring, graphics are in the middle

Good: Great graphics, fun combat gameplay, really feel like spider-man, freeplay is awesome, entire New York to explore, black suit enhances gameplay, narrator is hilarious (Bruce Campbell)
Bad: Sound quality is somewhat poor (not really that bad), missions are kind of cheesy (deliver the delicious fruit pies), short

Simpsons Game (PSP Review)

Good: Fun cartoony graphics, hilarious voiceovers, amazing funny cut-scenes, hilarious game, every Simpsons character is playable, very fun to play
Bad: Gameplay gets boring, some inappropriate parts

Really fun PSP game. The most hilarious game for any system that I have ever gotten!

Patapon (PSP Review)

Good: Fun animation and art, catchy music, lots of unlockables and customization, fun to build up armies
Bad: Some rhythms are hard to master, eventually gets very difficult

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron (PSP Review)

Good: Battlefront awesome-ness, just like Battlefront II, online play is great, great graphics
Bad: Controls are a little awkward (but not that much)

Spongebob: Yellow Avenger (PSP Review)

Good: Spongebob ROX, can go anywhere in Bikini Bottom
Bad: Goes from easy to difficult way too quickly

Good: Like SM2, free roaming, swinging is cool, real Spider-Man experience, SM3 is my favorite all-time movie

Bad: WAYYYYYY too difficult, art is kind of weird, graphics are not detailed.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance (PS2 Review)

Good: A TON of characters, fun battling, good range of attacks
Bad: Confusing at some times, lacks inclusion of great super heroes like Batman and Superman (I know DC and Marvel would never make a game together).

Good: Very innovative gameplay, best music game ever, feels like your a real guitar player (I would know, since I play real guitar)

Iron Man (PSP Review)

It is a mediocre game. Graphics or fantastic, especially on a handheld. At some parts, I really felt like I was really Iron Man. But eventually, it got pretty boring.

Good: Amazing graphics, only Iron Man game out there, kind of fun

Bad: Like Spidey Friend Or Foe it is repetitive, not many Iron Man weapons, minigames aren't very fun, flying is hard and not very fun

Overall, it is definitely worth a rent from Blockbuster, but not worth $30

Spider-Man Friend or Foe (PSP Review)

I wanted some Spider-Man on my PSP, so I got this. It wasn't very challenging, and fighting was very repetitive. Levels were all the same, except the boss battles were a little different. At the end, there isn't much reward for beating the game. Now that I got all of the bad stuff out of the way, I'll tell you the fun things. First, I think it rocks that you can be Spidey's villains. It was very entertaining to be Venom, and also Doctor Octopus wasn't too boring either. Each character that you can be has there own unique attacks, which adds sum variety, but not much. Overall, Spider-Man Friend or Foe for the PSP handheld system was fun at the beginning, but got too repetitive by the end. Overall 8/10.

Video Game reviews
